I currently have a blog at blogger.com and I want to switch to wordpress. Is there any difference between having a blog on wordpress.com and installing wordpress software from wordpress.org ? Because I know nothing about hosting and I really want to switch. I read in many blogs that wordpress is a better platform than blogger. For a person like me who has a minimum technical knowledge on hosting will it work out if i were to buy a hosting space and install wordpress.
