Orkut is pretty big atleast in India because of the Interface and the looks and everything which is why i have seen that the Generation Y still does not want to move to either Twitter or Facebook and still stick to Orkut. Well on the same thoughts i thought of building a new Community for Patels – which is our community where people all over the world can join and stay connected. Along with this in the long run we can even set up matrimonial options, payments for premium members and also charge the members to get access to others private details for the matrimony system. The search for a good script didnt take much time because the one which i found was called as Dolphin offered by Boonex.
The script is so powerful that it offers a single package for creating your own Social Network, Web Community, Dating Site, Matrimonial Website which comes with options like Friends, Chat, Messenger, Video, Music, Groups, Communities, Classifieds, Events, Polls, Photo Gallery and lot more. Iam sure it would be very much excited to see how the final site looks like because getting all the before mentioned features through a single script for free of cost looks not to be real but you can check out my new community at Patels Online which is built on Dolphin Script powered by Boonex, with only one limitation which is that Boonex would have links to their website from the footer and you need to make a payment to remove this.
The script is around 30mb in size which you need to download and upload to your ftp host, following which the installation procedure will begin. Next you will be asked to install some modules on your server because the script handles Thumbnail Generation, Video & Music Uploads. Once the script is installed you need to register for a Boonex.com free account which would unlock most of the features in your script. The backend looks excellent as shown below which is the Admin Access Section.
The Builder option in Admin Panel is one of the best feature which allows you to Drag & Drop Items in order to make them Active or Deactivate them. Check out the following screenshot which can show you how easy it is to configure the top navigation bar and also individual pages like the Homepage or the Contact Page. Boonex Dolphin Scam Script is the most ugly and terrible piece of code I’ve ever seen!!! Try to digg in the code, change something substantially – and you’ll see yourself that it has architecture that is impossible to deploy. Structured programming mixed with OOP that violates all normal rules of OOAD, ugly and difficult to read style of coding – man I’m so angry and disappointed with it – current project I’m building upon it is late because I HAD TO REIMPLEMENT MOST SOCIAL NETWORKING FEATURES what was done because of tight coupling of code and terrible design in general…>:( Don’t even think of buying it if you plan to change at least something about it substantially. It might work if you plan to stick with it while making minor changes – mostly styles and colors. But everything over that will make you regret…
I haven’t tried other Boonex products yet (and never will do so!), but DOLPHIN IS THE WORST SCRIPT I’VE EVER SEEN. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND USING OTHER PRODUCTS – there are plenty of them.
Considering previous post – why someone wants to lie about company whereabouts? There’s no other answer but to fool customers. They say they offer quality product with customer support, which is a big lie. Boonex Scam Script has a lot of complaints all around the web. Try googling Boonex complaints. Report to http://www.BBB.org if you have your own complaint.
Don’t get fooled – use SocialEngine, JomSocial, Drupal, etc instead. Boonex is a scam.
