Non Contact Thermometer for Trauma Free Experience

January 1, 2010 by Amit Bhawani

The revolutionary no-touch thermometers are currently in the news because they offer a solution to the trauma which normal people get while using the traditional thermometers in measuring the body temperature. American Scientific Resources is launching 5-in-1 non-contact thermometer which is designed in such a way that would help both the consumers and healthcare workers all over the world.

These thermometers would remove the use of Glass & Mercury based thermometers which can be hard in usage because they need to be sterilized after every usage and also go through a medical procedure because they are in touch with patients body parts which may not be clean too.

Features :
* Affordability
* Quick results, enabling immediate care
* Time saver for large groups
* Trusted clinical approval for accuracy
* The ability to take a trauma-free, non-invasive temperature
* Completely hygienic
* Back-lit display to be seen in dark when the patient is sleeping
* Saving commercial facilities an inordinate amount of money by not having additional expenses associated with other thermometers (ex. Probe covers, disinfection methods)

The official launch would be in feb 2010 on the name of Kidz-Med 5-in-1 Non-Contact Thermometer along with a retail price of 49.95$, while people outside US should have to pay 80$ which is seriously very high price. The current full capacity of production is at 5000 units/day and once this is launched iam pretty sure more Chinese companies would launch the same and by year end the price would be brought to 1/4 of the current price.

    Many kids hate it when you take their temperatures in any part of their body, thank goodness the non-contact thermometer is finally here to help parents. I have owned this type of thermometers and it’s really amazing because it gives me an easier way to measure the temperature of my baby. One more thing I wanted to say, this is something that is really worth having for.
