I still doubt the pricing of iPhone at Rs.8000 in India. If it really brings at that price, it will be a real shock to Nokia, O2 and HTC.

Anyhow, can’t wait for the release. Apple is getting active in India.

So iPhone is really spreading the world.
Wonder when it will finally get to my country… 🙁
Of course, you can always get it from somewhere its sold and jailbreak it to use it in your country. Really funny how those mobile phone operators are racing to launch it first! 😀

Thats great news for Indian awaiting to get an iPhone, that too an iPhone3G but just before we even think of buying, think of all that the phone is capable of doing and what are cellular networks are capable of doing, our networks are still 2G networks, are there are phones with capabilities of 3G being launched by networks with capabilities of 2G capabilities. I doubt if users would want to go in for such a phone only based the hype or wait and seen.

Crap Post ! there is no 4GB Iphone 3g that exists and you have even come up with a phoney release price for them citywise! If its a typo on yr part then do correct it and I would also like to know the source that leaked you the pricing for these cities.

The pricing is just a estimation taken from different online source because we cannot know the exact pricing unless any Indian telecom dealer announces it. Thanks for spotting the mistake nalin, the handset model’s were mistaken and posted as 4Gb.

    iPhone @8k not possible.

It is estimated that the price would be around 15k INR.
The iPhone is available in US markets for $199 which is around 8200/- INR. If they sell it in 8k then the Nokia and other companies have to pack their bag and RUN away from India. OR they will think to sell their high end mobiles at throw away price.
