Firefox is a great browser and not just because of the looks but also for the features we get with it in the form of useful Add-ons. I normally need to check out my Stock Markets Portfolio every few minutes and see if there is a growth or a loss in the market and the stocks i have purchased. Also if you are looking to purchase a few shares of some company you would be willing to track down the rate every few minutes, based on which you can decide to buy more of those stocks or sell of your current portfolio. Another reason why there is a need for automatic web page refresh these days is that, if you are a Twitter user you would find that the updates on the Home page are automatically updated and the title of the page shows a small notification that there are new updates which you have to click to view. It can be quite annoying to keep clicking on the link provided just to see the new updates and this is that reason if there is a program which would automatically refresh these pages, it can save up our time.
In order to solve this stuff we are going to install a Firefox Add-on called as ReloadEvery which once installed would offer some extra options to your context menu when you right click on any web page. This is a similar application to the Refresh Browser when websites not loading which performs almost similar task but to the browser when any web page does not load on the browser.
Before Installing – When you right click on any Web Page you would find a option called ‘Reload’ which would make the browser refresh the whole page and this would be a one time process and not in any continuous loop.
After Installing – The Add-on would show a new option when you right click as shown below. The option once Enabled with any time frame like say 10s would continuously reload the web page on that selected tab till you stop it. Also there is a option to Enable All Tabs which would perform the same time framed task for all the tabs which are currently open on your browser.
