BlackBerry Torch 9800 Review & Features

BlackBerry has just announced that their latest Mobile Phone handset is the BlackBerry Torch 9800 today which is powered with the BlackBerry 6 OS which is more powerful and comes with features which todays generation needs ie the Social Feeds, new browser and Enhanced multimedia. Here are more details on the device :

  • All in one design : You can enjoy the high-resolution screen along with the advantage of using the slide-out QWERTY keyboard which helps you in typing more easily.
  • Visual, Fluid interface : The BlackBerry 6 OS is going to give you a better experience along with a better interface which is easy to understand and use. The best part is that you can easily find out all the most used options like Contacts, SMS Messages etc and use the QWERTY keyboard to send the messages.
  • Enhanced Browsing : The BlackBerry Torch Browser is completely upgraded with options like pinching, zooming and tabbing support which allows you to swap between different web-pages.
  • Engaging multimedia : The device comes with a 8Gb of pre-installed memory and a lot of better multimedia features which would give you higher quality video and graphical experience.
  • Social feeds : This is a feature which is useful for teenagers and business users because it allows you to easily connect with the contact networks and post updates on websites like Facebook, Twitter etc.
  • 5 MP Camera : The new Touch 9800 comes with a 5 MP camera along with flash and continuous auto focus, video recording, Image stabilization and new scene modes. You can easily capture videos and store the beautiful moments on the 8Gb storage.
  • Universal Search : Looking for something on your mobile phone? Scan your folders, apps, Internet, email, and more, all in one search.
  • Battery Life : The new 9800 features a better battery life of 5.5hrs Talk time and around 18 days of Standby Time. Whether you’re just chatting or getting down to business the BlackBerry Torch 9800 keeps you going.

    A perfect business phone, with the classy interface and the QWERTY slider keypad in the bottom. The 5-megapixel camera would be a killer too, but I would have been happy if they sell the unlocked version than the AT&T locked phones at $199.
    The 512MB RAM and the 4GB memory is good enough, if we are not using the phone for any multimedia purpose like movies, music etc. I’m sure the features to run the MS office etc. would be great in the Blackberry 6 OS.
