Finally we successfully completed the Hyderabad Bloggers Meet which was planned just 2 days before the event and was set right on time. Before i can start more on this i would like to introduce everyone who helped me in this initiative and make it happen. The meetup was actually for the Blogger.com 11th birthday celebration and we wanted to meet people who have been blogging but have never other bloggers in real.

The event was started at around 7:15PM at Ohri’s Raj Bhavan Road – Hyderabad with around 35 Bloggers from Hyderabad giving their introduction and sharing their ideas and making discussions with each others. At around 8:00 Pm we went ahead with a Bloggers Quiz which was mostly focused on the stuff related to Google, Internet & Blogging. The correct answerer’s were given T-Shirts & Gift Vouchers. We also gave away a small handbook on how to get started into Blogging which is now available at this blog for all our readers.
This was our first experience in organizing our own event instead of being a co-organizer which was previously done in case of SEO Meets. In the coming months we would be having a full day event with complete Blogging related agenda and complete focus on the theme. We are waiting for the bloggers to write down some suggestions, reviews and feedback on this event on their blogs to prove that they are Bloggers and they focus mainly on writing!

Note : We gave away free passes to the event through eventbrite which is a recommended service but if you plan for a Indian Paid event its not going to work as they work with USD only and not with INR.

As I noticed, many people bit curious about the monetisation part, which was not the agenda. Hopefully, there is need to do an event on that theme.

Who sponsored all the expenses ? I guess, it was an official event called by the “Blogger” itself so did Google pay for expenses ?
We sponsored the whole event and didnt go for any sponsor because it was a casual meet and hence we didnt want it to be spammed with many advertisers.
How about in bangalore ?
It must would be one the great blogger meets.
