Any broadband plan above comes with a 250Rs Installation charges and with a registration fees of 100Rs. Modems are available on rent from 60Rs to 90Rs per month based on the type of the modems. You can also directly buy a modem from open market – ADSL Type and get them installed by BSNL employees. Free Modem will be provided in the following plans : Home 1800 and Home 3300 Plans. You can add a review if you are BSNL home broadband user and are having positive reviews or have any problems with their services.

    • Yes u r right Thats why ?the BSNL worker as well as officers are not free from “MALIK & NAUKAR” MANTALITY so they are behaving like old time “JAMINDAR”

  3. I have applied thrice in one year online with no response.When I call them they want me to visit their D.E personally for the status.Why are they so secretive and why do they compell physical visits when application is online?

  8. i am sorry to say that i am unable to see my acount usage for last 8 days,as the BB acount management site-http;//bbservice.bsnl.in is not opening.i do mention here that my PC has java script functioning,and have made cookies allowed.Hope this service is made available soon.     How can I rely BSNL,about my usage bills. This time when I opened my acounts with my id and my password (i always double check) at http;//bbservice.bsnl.in, I got the usage bill of another person. I tried to save the page to show you people but couldnot.

  10. My phone number is 27801699. I have a home 500 broad band network with usage of 2.5 MB for over 3 years. All these years/period I was getting within the minimum stipulated amount of Rs.500/- as my usage is minimum. This months(April) I got extra broad band bill of Rs.1354/- beyond my minimum of Rs.500/-. I feel that my billing is wrong this month. Can you verify and tell me. In good faith I have paid the bills to avoid disconnection.

  11. I doesnt have landline and readed 125 rs home plan. there is not requirement of landline in this plan. i just wana know that surfing is free for full day and download is 150mb per mnth?

    For the Rs. 125 BSNL broadband plan, the 150 MB limit is for data transfer (download/upload). The data transfer means any data that gets downloaded to you computer or uploaded from your computer. It includes text, pictures, graphics, sounds, flash etc. that gets downloaded into your computer when you open a web page. For example when you view the web page http://www.google.co.in/, the date transfer that happens is 7.12 KB. For every page that you visit, the data transfer happens and it gets counted.

    For checking your usage, you can log in any one of the below given addresses with your username and password. You can access these pages with only Windows XP and Internet explorer 6.

  16. The home plzn 500c is a big fraud.They manipulate the usage by some means.i thought i would get a lower bill than the unlimited and turned out to get Rs 8500 just for 1 month.

  17. Monthly bills against user of Nett services are not being sent within stipulated period. It all some time ceases the nett services whereas ultimatly user have to go before different types of employees and bears unwarranted problems. Deposit counters in my distict always use to close prior to shedule timing displayed at windows. As such customers are some time compelled to leave the office without any relief. Moreover nett services of BSNL do not provide any configuration about usage. Bills are usually wrongly prapared and thereby consumer becomes helpless to pay more.

  18. My phone no. is 0120-2402127. Plan is Home 1K. Means billed up/download of 5GB/month. Free during 0200 – 0800 hrs. Min speed should be 384 kbps. Never got that speed. Most of the time getting below 100 kbps. Sometime even 1 or 2 kbps at my PC. Service is not reliable. Occassional disconnection too.

    i leave in a college hostel.is it possible to get broadband connection (& a landline connection)on rental basis in a hostel??

    I do a lot of downloading/uploading, surfing through out the day, though mostly during night. Can someone suggest what is the best plan to fit such a schedule? What does “night time unlimited” stand for? What are the timings? I currently have a Home 500 plan, and just got an exorbitant bill! Help!

  29. The service is pathetic. Used it for more than a year and found, the ediot linaman and Jr.engineer manipulate lot and check your patience. moving out of BSNL.

  30. I read here about home plan 500. In this plan it is clearly mentioned that downloading is limited upto 2.5 GB. And during night time it is unlimited. But during what duration it is free. and also mentiioned that 0.80Rs/Mb Extra Bandwidth Charges-What is this. Should we pay it every month? Plz answer me asap.

    many of you dont know the proper meaning of the word download. so let me explain.

    opening of every page is download. it will be based on the content of the page. downloading kbps/page depend on the graphics and datas of that website. so please understand that downloding means its not only for downloading content or datas from the website to the system or uploading datas from system to the website. so if you just surfing on the website then also it will be charged for downloading. hope that everyone got understand it.

    i wanna say that downloading is not just getting dumped the useful softwares etc into ur pc’s.it’s nothing but surfing.if 250,500 plans are used by anyone then during morning timings u will be charged like anything in ur phone bill be aware of it my dear friends

  43. I currently have a Rs.750 unlimited plan of BSNL. Prior to one month the usage was good for internet. Due to certain changes in job and other personal reasons now the internet usage has come to approx. 2hours per day. some browsing and music download happens generally now. Can you please suggest some better plan that I could change into. I do not want to see taking 125 plan or 200 plan or 500 plan on paper and later land paying much more than I am paying now.     what ever your services are good …but the rental was some what high and not for easy to pay….
    so, give some liberality in rentalssssss……………………..

    at that time the users may increase …

    give some more downloading facility to that package ….
    like 1 GB is change to 2 GB ….or more
    call rentals also give some freedom…..
    ->which package having heavy ” service taxes ” also…..

    • u go for 500 Rs combo plan. it has 1.5 GB data download plus morning 2 to 8 download free.
