BSNL which already offers numerous plans to Business & Home Users ranging from Home Plan 125 to 8Mbps Connection, the service is rated one of the best broadband service provider in India which is helping them in building a very large customer base. The company is also offering Data Cards service which gives the publishers with a excellent connectivity speed and mobility to the users which means that they can move around anywhere in India and still connect to the Internet and do their job.
The new Wimax Services are going to be offered to the consumers with a total of 15kms radius with the help of one small antenna and this can be in short counted as a Large Wifi Connection with a broader connectivity area. Since the area is limited the costs would be very less when compared to other products they offer and would start at just 140Rs for rural subscribers. The best part of these connections are that they don’t get regularly disconnected because of fibre cable cuts or other issues and since this is connected wirelessly its overall a recommended service for your Home and Office Usage. BSNL Offers you with a CPE (Customer Premises Equipment) which is a Plug & Play Device allowing you to stay mobile in a smaller area by moving the connection which is not possible in Tata Wimax and Reliance Wimax Services.
Bsnl is yet to announce other plans except the 256Mb Wimax Plan Details and the service availability in different cities. There are news that BSNL is not going to install any new Infrastructure for this new service but is going to use their current Mobile Phone Towers for offering the wimax services.
What are the rates of the new BSNL WiMAX? I havent heard anything except fr 140rs pm in rural areas. On bsnl site there is 1000plan bt i dont think its for the new one they implemented recently. Im from Ajmer, and i want the new BSNL wimax. It was inaugrated in rural area in Ajmer (Pisangan) bt nt in urban area.
Waiting fr it desperately!!!
I hope the BNSL speeds are as quoted. I am currently paying for 3mB but am lucky to get 1mB at best (not with BNSL). Indian Internet providers are sat on a gold mine – what is taking them so long with all those eagerly awaiting customers out there ?
