A feed is a very useful way to fetch a part of some useful content and stay updated with latest changes on the selected website. eBay uses the RSS 2.0 feed format following which you can easily display any of your favorite sellers items or your own latest selling listings on your blog or else a feed reader. We had earlier written about displaying latest eBay Sale listings on Blog Sidebar and also eBay Auction Tool which helps you in getting alerts on new listings.
In this article we will suggest you how you could display the latest items for sale using the WordPress based blog’s RSS Widget option. First of all you will have to find out the eBay sellers user page which is the profile page where you could find all the details of the seller including the latest testimonials, ratings, items selling etc. Here is our sample page at – Ebay My World – http://myworld.ebay.in/amit-bhawani/
Next here in you will find a link below the profile picture which says ‘Items for sale’ which you need to click. Next all the items which are sold currently by that specific seller would be displayed to you. Under the ‘Items for Sale’ page you will find all the products listed in either List, Gallery or Snapshot order. Below all the listings there are a list of tools listed where in you need to click on the button which says ‘RSS’ which will redirect to another page.
Show on WordPress blogs :
Next you will have to copy the RSS Link which would be like this and then login to your blogs dashboard. Under the Appearance > Widgets > RSS.
Show on Feed Reader :
If you use a service like Google Reader, FeedDemon or espresso reader then you need to just copy the above listed feed URL and subscribe to the same which would send you alerts when ever there is a new item for sale by that specific seller.
These feeds are not just limited to latest items but also works for Search Results, eBay Stores, eBay Discussion Boards, eBay General Announcement Board and System Announcement Board.

This can be a nice addition to the shopping cart websites, where we have a list of products for sale and we can use a special keyword in the sale pages, and the same can be used here in WordPress to list those products.
I am rather surprise because most people dont use RSS anymore
yes… people ignore it..
