Its very easy to embed youtube videos within your blog posts , because you get a very easy code on the Youtube video pages which you need to copy and paste in your ‘Add New Post > Html> section and just publish, but when you want to post SWF files within your posts, it can become a bit harder because all the Flash files are saved with a .swf file extention and you cannot directly use these files within your blog posts the way you use .jpg/.png files.
Check out Kimili Flash Embed WordPress plugin which can solve all your problems , because you need to just Install & Activate the plugin to complete the most part of this embedding. After activating this plugin you are welcomed with a big list of configuration options but i would recommend to ignore all and just on with the default settings which are activated.
Upload the .Swf file through a FTP software to your web server and keep its location ready and post the following code within your blog post to activate the .swf file.
[kml_flashembed movie=”Swf File Location” height=”400″ width=”400″ /]
In the above code you have the option to change the size of the final flash movie display which can change before publishing. Thats it, you can posted a Flash File within your Blog Post easily.
