Apple has updated their App Store with a new application which is developed by themselves called as the ‘Find my iPhone‘ offering you with a feature which was awaited from years. May be Apple did want all its customers to keep losing their handsets so that they could purchase a new one. Back to the Application which is available for free of cost is listed under the Utilities Categories available for English, French, German, Japanese users.

- Remotely set a passcode lock on your device (or lock it using your existing passcode)
- Remotely wipe your device to permanently erase all of your personal data
How this Works :
In case you lose your costly Apple iPhone or the iPad Device, you can quickly install this application on your handset to track it down and get it back. You need to have a MobileMe subscription to find and locate the device on the map following which you can remotely display a message or a alert sound on the device. Not only displaying the message you can even Remotely lock down the device completely or else wipe out all the data in it so keep your privacy secured. This could be deleting all your Messages, Photos, Videos, Email Logins etc in case you feel that the other party wont be returning the handset.
