Electonic Arts has released a new version of their car race series by the name “Need for Speed Prostreet” which you can now download and try out before you can buy it. The total download size is of 795 MB. The demo features two game modes every Xbox 360 owner on the planet is already familiar with – a little taste of what NFS ProStreet should fully deliver in two weeks time.

The game is ready for PC and you need a PC with the following configuration :
OS: Windows XP/Vista
CPU: 2.8 GHz or higher (Windows Vista requires 3.0 GHz)
RAM: 512 MB RAM or higher (Windows Vista requires 1 GB RAM)
HDD: 8.1 GB free disk space or more
Graphics: 128 MB or higher (Pixel Shader 2.0, AGP and PCIe only)
DirectX: Version 9.0c
DVD-Drive: 8x
Multiplayer: Internet Connection 512 Kbps, 2-8 Players

    madland – Unknown.
    rushhour – Race with lots of traffic on the road.
    empire – Race on the Empire City track.
    elninor – Race with the El Nino car.
    merc – Race with the Mercedes CLK GTR.
    gofast – Make your car go super fast in Single Race mode.
    allcars – Enable all cars including Pursuit Vehicles. jag – Race with Jaguar XJR-15.

    Enter these cheats at the single player menu. Then click race.

    Go to the Atlantica track, in any mode, and start the race. As you near the left-hand curve right before the dock, go clear to the right and there should be a open tunnel with wooden planks on the bottom, go through it, and it eliminates the whole curve!

Go through the alley and at the end of the alley, do not follow the track just turn a little to the left and aim directly for the road works blocking off another dark alley. This will take you directly through two long steep bends.

  65. This game is easily one of the worst racing games I have ever played. The demo may be fun, but with the full version, after alittle while youll be so bored by it youll want to uninstall it and burn (not copy, set on fire) the disc.

  163. I am sorry for those who liked this game. Get a life people. Check out the other NFS games like Underground, Most Wanted, and the latest NFS Undercover, etc. ProStreet is just a waste of time so let’s get realistic and stop commenting “it’s good, it’s great” when you even haven’t played it!!
