How to Save Favorites in the New Version of MSIE?
In case of the newer version of IE we can go for the direct export from the IE. First Select File option on your Internet Explorer and click the Import and Export option.
You will get an import and export wizard, select Export on it and click the ‘next’ button.
Then select Favorites and again press the ‘next’ button. A window will appear where you will be able to allow the Save Directory stored by default and you may also choose one according to your wish. If you choose the Desktop, finding a file will be easier for you. After selecting it again click on ‘next’.
This is basically the entire procedure, after completing the process, click the ‘finish’ button, your favorites will be saved on the disk. The file will be named bookmark.htm by default, save it on a CD or a floppy disk.
For importing the favorites you have to select the Import option following the same steps as described above, and then click ‘next’.
After that browse to find the saved version of the file bookmark.htm and your current bookmarks will be replaced by the saved copies. The process is pretty simple; you will be able to do it by yourself once you have read this article.
How to Save Favorites in an Older Version of MSIE?
Many of us are still using an older version of IE. So the way of saving favorites in older versions should also be described. The process is not very different from the method of saving favorites in the new version. In this case you may make use of a utility program to perform similar things as you have learnt to do in the new version.
Learn saving your favorites, but always keep in mind that crashing of the system is not a good thing for your PC, try to avoid them and consult people with knowledge of computer regarding this problem.
