With the prices of Digital Camera’s & Handy Camera’s going down, everyone is becoming a Photographer and a Video Maker and uploading those videos to youtube, followed by publishing to multiple video sites. Now while you plan to upload a video to some website or you would like to link to some video, its better to have a few Screenshots of the Movie you have created and for this you need to use different tools.
If you just tap on the PrintScreen Button on your Laptop while the video is playing it wont work because its going to give you a blank screen. This happens with all the major media players like iTunes, Windows Media Player, MPC and there is no solution for the black screen when you print screen on them unless you use a external application which can take Screenshots. If you see the Image next to this paragraph, it would show that when i did a PrintScreen of a running video it went into a blank screen which shown a black display and this wont be happening if you click on the options available in the software.
First of all you need to download this free software from here and then install it on your computer. You need to next click on the open option and load a movie file which would start playing there. Next on the controls panel you will find 2 buttons which would allow you to take a single screenshot & multiple screenshots along with the number of screenshots you would like to generate. Once done you will find that in a few seconds all the screenshots would be generated and when you click on the save option they would be all saved to a single file along with some movie information in a Image File format as shown below.

thank you for sharing the trick-i knew it but sometimes it is out of ur mind and u cnt apply it-next time it happens to me-i will visit the site n find this post to recapitulate

Well if you play your video on VLC player then you have the direct option to taking the screenshot of it with a good number of other options.
