Do Indian Adsense Publishers need to wait 6 months for Approval?

May 30, 2011 by Yogesh Patel 61 Comments

When you talk of online earning through Pay Per Click Programs then Google Adsense is the #1 choice of everyone. Making money online through Adsense is simple – Just have a blog or website, apply for Adsense and starting earning. But wait! Is that so easy to earn money? Are the advertising like ‘earn ten thousand working 1 hour per day’ really working? Is it so easy to get Google Adsense account? All the questions related to Adsense for Indian publishers are answered below.

Back in forums and discussions board, there are people who questions whether Adsense is accepting new application in India or not? As far as we know, we are sure that Adsense is still accepting applications for publishers in India. So if you have a blog or website then there is no one stopping you from applying to Google Adsense.

However, in the recent past years Google Adsense Team reports many fraudulent activities have been involved like fake Adsense account creation, invalid clicks, creating multiple Adsense account on same name and address, inviting people to click on ads, click ad exchanges and lot more. Most of these activities were reported in Asia and prominently from India and China. So this has forced Adsense team to keep a minimum publishers requirement for new publishers from India and China.

According to the new requirement, new publishers should own their blog or site for atleast 6 months under his ownership. So if your blog is not 6 months old and its very fresh then you should have to wait until it gets an age of 6 and then you can go with publisher application. However some publishers have reported that their application was approved although their site was not 6 months old and that is possible only in case if you have high traffic to your site. So if you have good traffic to your blog then you can straightaway apply for Adsense.

Also another question people ask is whether blogspot are eligible for application? The answer is yes, you can still use blogspot blogs to make your application for publishers and there is no requirement to purchase a domain or web hosting to get started.

Last but not least, if you meet up all the requirement mentioned above, there is no guarantee that your application would be 100% approved. Google forces publishers to follow Adsense Publishers policies. Adsense process of publishers approval has been tighten up with through checkup of your blog and just one or two post in your blog are not enough to get your application approved.

To sum it up, to get a new Adsense publishers account in India you should have a blog (not necessarily to purchase domain or web hosting) which should be 6 months old under your ownership. Importantly your site should be in compliance with Adsense program policies. Do check out for Adsense FAQs, tutorial, tips and guides.

Six month is not compulsory for Indian blogger to get Google AdSense Approved. If you have new blog with quality content and get some good traffic then you can easily get AdSense approved, but luck also matters.

Yes. You are right on this. But back to India users they normally apply with celebrity pictures blogs or blogspot blog which takes time for AdSense team to approved them.

6 months for adsense approval is really a myth, if you have good traffic and original content then you can apply for adsense even if its just 3 months old

what about number of unique visitors?is that also a criteria for getting accepted, suppose your visitor count is low, will that be grounds for non acceptance??

There is no criteria of Unique visitors mentioned by Google! If you feel your site is making good then you can apply. I think if you get 500 UV per day + Alexa less than 2 lacs + 500 Google Indexed pages will make your application approved.

      All the best.

Google is very careful accepting adsense accounts now. Everyone is creating website with some basic content and applying for adsense account. To maintain quality Google will obviously select the best applications only.

I request all Indian publishers not to involve in any fraudulent activities as it would be harmful for you as well as all good Indian publishers out there waiting to be approved by Google.

Making money from adsense is not difficult if you follow the path of quality content and consistency!

    Best wishes!

    Hi Amit,

I am a regular reader of ur blog. But here what you have told is completely wrong. I had contacted you when adsense guys rejected my request two times. so u suggested I spend effort and give publicity through mails. after getting around 600 plus page visits, I got approval for adSense in just 2 months. SO I feel its really wrong what you have published here from my personal experience.

    Thanks,
    Thej

I am not saying that AdSense Approval takes 6 months. As mentioned by Google your blog must be 6 months old in order to apply for Adsense.

All the guys have considered it wrong.

The sentence “As mentioned by Google your blog must be 6 months old in order to apply for Adsense.” – This is wrong.

***My blog is just 2 months and got approval****

I applied for an adsense account once my site was 6 months old but it got rejected. I reapplied when it turned 9 months old, and it got rejected once again 🙁

Now my site is about a year old with about 5000 pageviews a day – wondering if its the right time to apply!

In wordpress u can log in and create many blogs under the same log in id. say abcd.wordpress.com, efgh.wordpress.com etc. each link with different traffic. Now while registering for adsense do u need to put all these links separately? Assuming adsense prefers say minimum 500 pageviews per day, does each links need to hv a traffic of 500 per day or all links combined traffic of 500 will also serve the purpose?

it is not required to wait untill the 6 months. There are several cases that the approval of getting adsense will be done in 3 months or less for that we need to cope up with the traffic(400 unique or less per day) and genuine content must be in our website.

also if in case of getting approved by only mentioning one domain, and then i put my adsences in all my websites, will google considerate this as a fraud?

@ sergio :- you only give single domain which is completely friendly to the google adsense terms and conditions. and one more thing u need six months old domain name. after that you can apply and you can use the same account on all other 5 domains without any problem.

Some important things to approve adsense easily is :

    1. Quality Content… “content is king”
2 25 Pages with quality article
    3. Follow Google Webmaster guidelines
    4. Target audience…
    5. No controversial content…
    6. No copywrited content…
7 include About us page and proper address of your site…
wait for 6 months and make some readership for your site…
    8. Use adwords to promote in first 6 months…
after give an application for adsense… You are done…
You will get your adsense within 48 hours…
But don’t click on your own ads…
