LG Arena Mobile Phone Review

March 3, 2010 by Tony Stark

A mobiles come and go, there are a few that just do not leave the market due to its standing in the market. Some stay by popular demand while others because of its salient features. And there are some that return with even more facilities improvising on their previous models. The return could be also because of its failure in the response in the public; then the company sometimes will withdraw the model and bring another one to replace it or devise another name for it. The LG Arena is the hottest full touch screen compact disk smart phone from LG mobiles. Worthy of note, the appearance includes a 5 Megapixel Camera with a Flash, you have a DVD Quality video Recording , Dolby Mobile Music, 8 GB inbuilt Memory, DivX Movie Playback.LG Arena Phone with Battery USB Cable acts as a charger as well.

At first the Arena was judged against the iPhone which was the first gen gadget, where it was noted that they have a lot of similarities. But after using the phone, I can vouch that it is nowhere to the Apple iPhone. It is even better than the iPhone. The LG Arena is a lot thicker than the iPhone First-gen but thinner than the iPhone 3G. The Arena flirts caressingly in your hands and the build quality is toppers, though it does not have camera lens covers standardized micro USB connector it sure looks great for the price you pay. It carries with it in an attractive packed box LG Arena Phone with Battery, the USB Cable that can be used as a charger, in-ear head phones, and manuals for your convenience and lastly a DVD. But what it lacks is the recording technique used on early multitrack recording. The phone has a 3 inch WVGA touch screen display that makes viewing a real delight. With its 480×800 pixel resolution it can manage 16 million colors. The display being overwhelming inside, it is a bit difficult to use in bright conditions. People found it a bit difficult to use the Widgets in the beginning but once you got used to it, like in most gadgets; it was fun.

LG Arena Mobile PhoneThe phone is a good video recorder but the recorded video is saved in an outdated .3gp format. Another problem is that the zoom does not work in the video mode whereas it works in the image capture mode. The microphone is powerful and picks the sounds very well so that assures high quality sound effect. Music playback is great and whats is so cool is the comes with a 3.5mm jack so you can plug in any headphones of your choice. As the products increased at the LG house of Electronics and Electricals the sales also mushroomed in numbers. You can say that to a certain extent LG has out-shined Motorola and is expected to reach a solid Top 3 ranking. And with the many product being introduced and announced by LG Electronics, we are sure this dream will become a reality.
