If you own a Apple iPhone and have friends who always try to check out your stuff, then you can setup passcode lock which can disable access to anything on your iPhone. By Default this is not enabled and you need to manually setup this option.

Click on the ‘Settings’ Link location on the main screen, followed by clicking on the ‘General’ option which has other options like Network, Bluetooth, Auto-Lock , Passcode Lock etc.

You will be asked to enter the 4 digit numerical password twice for confirmation, which will be your final password to get access to your Apple iPhone.

Next in the same passcode options you can setup the time after which the password is asked when the iphone is access. This means that the next time you ‘Slide to Unlock’ the following screen will ask you to ‘Enter Passcode’

This is a very good setting for people who have mischievous kids or friends nearby.
