I guess many of you guys have got some wallpaper gallery websites or would have added images in their posts/content pages of your websites and you would be recieving good amount of traffic from google images. Well i do recieve traffic from google images which i need to monetise and make sure i dont lose that traffic.
Make sure you have installed all in one seo pack plugin for unique title and meta tags because these help you to have a better On-Page optimization on your webpages. Now lets talk about the wordpress plugin which iam referring to which can help you to redirect the Google images search result page directly to your blog’s page instead of the normal image result in a frame.
Lets say you made a search in google images for : Apple Office intending to search for some pics of Apple Office, when you click on the #3,#4 image result which leads to images hosted on this domain you will first be redirected to this page which will be automatically again redirected to the correct blog post on Apple office pictures
Iam sure this would make the visitor visit your website, giving them more interesting information and making them subscribe/bookmark your website and also may give you some income by clicking on the adverts on your blogs. This wordpress plugin basically breaks out the frame leading the visitor to the correct page where the image was initially posted.

This plugin would be very useful because i have got several websites which recieve lot of traffic from Google Images and are just optimised for the same and i need the visitor to really visit my webpage for helping me in making some money. You should also try to interlink internal tags for making the pages rank in the top and the images posted in those specific posts also rank top in Google Images.
You can clearly view from my website’s traffic stats that the specific website recieves more than 90% of its traffic from Google Images and how this redirection can help me convert it and increase my revenue by 9 times.

Does this have any negative effect on SEO?
I really doubt this is not whitehat SEO……this method might lead your site to google penalty, thought nothing is said for Image search but redirection in normal google search ends up in google penalty….this is my speculation
Is this where you click on an image result on Google and it redirects you to the main page rather than the frame? That is totally immoral and I leave a site when that happens. Immediately
Its your problem if you leave the site, but if you check out huge wallpaper sites or blogs which get huge traffic from Google Images, getting locked in a Frame can make them lose everything and redirecting would help them in converting the visitors.
OH my god, i never thought this could be possible..
this can be a great idea, because so many people search for images everyday on google.. i am among them.. whenever i need any particular image.. all i do is get on google and search for it..

LOL @ whoever says it is unethical. Google is DIRECTLY framing your website and you talk about ethics. Google should be directing a visitor to you directly, without framing your website. In any case, who says that this is unethical? Can you show me a clause in Google Images TOS where it is mentioned that as a webmaster you are not allowed to do that? If you can’t find a clause which states so, Google has no reason to penalize your website. Secondly, people may use my site in a frame and in order to avoid that if I use this plugin, what authority Google has to penalize my site?
Lets be logical in what we say before we jump to conclusions that are good for nothing.

Wouldn’t it be even better to tweak the plugin in a way that visitors clicking on the frame “see full sized image” get redirected to the site? If possible right to the appropriate image. The way the plugin is right now it takes a few seconds until the visitor gets redirected so there’s still enough time to click on “full size image” and not land on the actual page.

The Products photos on yy websites i.w. http://www.thedivineshoppe.com is also not appearing in Google Image Search, I am using Virtue mart and photos are uploaded in Virtue Mart Plugin.

You should focus more on Google Adsense only and then for CPM Networks try out Technorati Media, Burst Media or else try out Buy Sell Ads service. You can apply once you get required traffic.
