Micromax x 550 Qube Phone Review

Micromax, India’s 3rd largest GSM phone seller launched yet another handsome looking with stunning black color phone with model number “x 550 Qube” which gives this phone interface a 3-D like look and feel experience with a huge 3.2’ full touch screen with 8.1 cm screen and a resolution of 240*400. This candy bar style phone comes with dimensions 112.5* 55.9* 14.1 mm and weighs mere 85 Gms.

This Qube x 550 handset comes with a Dual SIM (GSM + GSM) support with Dual standby capability. This handset also packs in lots of social centric features and applications like snaptu, facebook, nimbuzz which is a multi-socializing client. Besides great feature packed for socializing, this phone also comes with a stereo FM radio and also super music player by offering support to most of the audio codecs like wav, mp3 and amr to name quite a few with a standard 3.5 mm jack. What’s the catch that comes with this phone is that this phone comes with a eye catchy customizable widget arc which gives a shortcut access to a whole list of apps like phonebook, messaging, camera, music and much more.

Micromax Qube x 550 handset supports video codecs like AVI/3GP/MP4, Internet support by GPRS/WAP and also supports Blue tooth via A2DP.  Phone book entries can go to a maximum of 1000 and sms memory of mere 500, they should have worked up on that. With a battery power of 1200mAH it will last for a talk time of 8 hours and will be on standby for 6 days. It also supports an external memory card with a micro SD card support of up to 16GB.

This phone aims to visually treat your eyes with its scintillating wallpaper change feature with just a gentle touch and also a whole new wide range of  never seen before animated and new set of different wallpapers on the screen for a picture perfect phoney experience.

Micromax packs its X 550 Box Packages  with the following mentioned box contents, a Transceiver, a Standard Charger, a Standard Battery, Data cable, Hands free Kit, User Guide, Service Guide, pc suite Software CD, a Leather pouch and also not to forget Warranty Card.

This great looking Micromax Qube x 550 dual sim full touch screen phone comes with a price tag of MRP Rs. 5,999 but with your good bargaining skills in place, you can get this phone for as low as Rs.5, 750.     Can you tell me that by when videocon and micromax wl launch Android phones?

    Videocon is betr or Micrmx in handsts?

      videocon has already launched ANdroid Phone named ZEUS which is priced between 18-20k, there is still no signs of Android OS adoption by the company Micromax, though we can’t say by whn they will come out with Android set.

    is qube has user friendly interface…
    n i heard it having problem wid touch pad..
    so plz…tell me as quick as possible …cz i wana purchase dis cellphone…

      Yes it is user friendly,
      Yes the touch is pad is a bit slow if you compare with iphone r the galaxy series but otherwise i dont have a problem with the phone awsm fr 4.5 grand

    i have heard that thsi phone’s internet is slow and it has battery problems adn this phone is not good it seems.. but i dont know can anyone pls tell me about it? becoz i want to buy this phone 🙂

      dn go for this phone, a new phone has arrived, Huawei IDEOS around same rate with Froyo 2.2 version. Go for this for a better Android Experience.
