Microsoft Live.com to offer Free T-shirts for Live Searchers

November 15, 2007 by Amit Bhawani 49 Comments

Microsoft has started a new campaign recently where in they will offer a Free T-shirt by participating in the “Live Search Trial Program”. The participants have to use Live.com for thier search and will be offered with a T-shirt for free. Also this offer is valid only for limited number of loyal hotmail users who were emailed regarding this and the campaign did have a lot of sucess IMO.

Check out the current Alexa rank of Live.com which has went up to Rank#3 from Rank#4 and may be this is the result of their campaign – Alexa Rank

Microsoft Live

Live.com a part of microsoft has been trying hard to reach/beat google search engine and get a better placement in the top but still its in the third place after yahoo in #1 and google in #2 placement. The adcenter which is advertising part of microsoft is also in failing stage because they are accepting advertisers but not publishers and seems microsoft guys need to implement the publisher account options as soon as possible.

Ya they are trying hard to beat google… but i still prefer Google .. as our site receive max visitors from G and less from others. I prefer to search my needful from G only.
