After a lot of requests to publish the Monthly Income Reports, i went ahead and planned to publish these reports once in a while. In this article you will be finding out few reports which can help you guys in understanding the money blogging can pay you and the amount of dedication required by you towards your blog if you are a Full time blogger. You can feel free to ask your questions or post suggestions at our Help Desk. I will be listing all the incomes in the order of higher to lowest.
#1. Google Adsense – $7,790
The Adsense revenue is increasing as usual every month and the last month ie June 2010 i made 7,790$ in total which include ads for content, search & feeds. The Feeds & Search revenue is not much and can be considered something less than 100$ and which is the reason at most of the times the Ads for Feeds are disabled. You should be implementing all the available ad sizes on your blog and keep testing all the new features Google Adsense team recommends on their blog for better income. Will be adding the check’s screenshot here which would be reaching soon. Wait for a days time and you will the Google Payment check below.
#2. Tribal Fusion – $3,148
TribalFusion is a CPM based ads serving company which offers decent advertisements to publishers all over the world. The network paid us around 100$/day revenue with ads mainly shown to the US Visitors only and for Indian Traffic there will be ads rarely displayed.
#3. Kontera – $1,185
A Pretty decent enough In Text Ads Network which pays on pay per click basis to publishers. Similar programs are Echotopic & Infolinks which i rarely use now on the main blogs.
#4. Other Small Networks – $1112
This section lists all the income made through different ad networks which include Meta Network, Openx, Link Worth, Technorati Media Ads, AdsDaq, Infolinks ads on some upcoming blogs etc which all of the total end up with the above mentioned figure. [200 + 559 + 227 + 126 = 1112]
#5. SEO Services – $880
Cannot disclose more about this section because the numbers keep jumping up and down as it all depends on the clients and their requirements. We dont offer any SEO Packages but offer small services which can help website owners and bloggers get better rankings and traffic from the search engines.
Total Revenue for June 2010
7,790 + 3,148 + 1,185 + 1112 + 880 = $14,115. Also we have crossed 21000 Feed Readers and hope that by year end we beat 25000 count along with a better income level. Will post another similar report next month and hope we continue making more than 10,000$ every month and stay in the Six Figure Bloggers Club.

90% of my revenue is from AmitBhawani.com because i give my most of the time here and the minimum time on our other websites or blogs network. Yeah if the revenue continues to be increasing then i do have a target for 2012 and 2015. 🙂

Here 4-6 months implies – ‘Do Research” before you publish any article .
Write about the content that is useful to the common people. I am also doing research for about 8 months and started a blog in July with a milestone of making min 1000 dollars per month in the end of this year.
I go through hundreds of tech blogs. But, what they usually publish on their blogs. Just news and tips from popular blogs like mashable, lifehacker etc. Content spinning will never gonna work .
You should understand Understand the competition .
For instance : Go to Google and type related queries to “how to take care of your eyes when you are working at the computer”. You will find Digital inspiration article most probably in top 3 pages .
Take another simple eg- Say someone is looking for schools in Varanashi. Most probably the queries would be something like “best schools in Varanashi ” , ” top schools in Varanshi” and so many that we can’t figure out .
You will find Amit bhawani blog’s link on the first page of Google. I hope you get the idea about what i want to convey.
I just have a glimpse of your blog . Now let me know what is unique in this article “10 Cool Google Maps Mashups”. These lists are good if you want to make content to appear on Digg and other SB sites for a short span of time. But after sometime the article will not have any value. Moreover,the heading is too common who is gonna find your article on search engines like Google. There are massive blogs such as lifehacker, makeuseof and Hongkait that are enough to provide such popular lists and they usually appear in top pages of Google.
“All My Movies 5.9 : Movie Database Manager”
This is what the most blogger usually write . News stuff and new version for a software. Let me know “Is this content would remain evergreen for a long time in search engines ” I hope u might get the impression that i am saying about writing content which would remain for a long time in search engines”
“Paint.NET – A free graphics editor”
Don’t mind . But, There is no point in writing such a common article.
Tips for you and other bloggers-
Conclusion – focus on quantity and quality both. In the beginning it does not matter all the articles you have written are of good quality but at least write some articles which enable you to get constant traffic from search engines. Then rest is On page factors. You need to learn to stop people on your website thereby reducing bounce rate .

It seems that you are doing more than ok with Kontera, do you recommend it and is it ok to use when it comes to Google and other search engines?

Kontera and Text Link Ads are completely different. The first one is something similar to Google adsense but the ads are shown on keywords within the blog posts content and this is the reason its called InText Ads, while the text links ads system would offer you paid links to be added on your blog which is completely harmful and not recommended. Read a article on this – https://www.amitbhawani.com/blog/dont-sell-text-link-ads-alternatives/ . You can always use networks like Infolinks, Kontera etc on your blog without any issues.

I have around 20 decent enough blog with each getting traffic between 500 visitors to 5000 visitors per day but the main blog is this one. The number is not important in my view, the importance is what works and what results you get out of them. A single blog is better since you can manage it easily and dedicate all of your time on it.

There is no better way for the community to grow than from learning about other successful bloggers. I have not seen a similar approach from any of the other bloggers in India. I have not seen any article on your forum which talks about the initial days, how many posts you did per day, how did you grow your subscriber list .. especially details on the first 6 months would be great .. would really help if you can share those details.
There is nothing hidden in terms of initial stuff but i did write a few articles on how this blog started like history etc Its hard now to post those stuff as we cannot remember the details correctly.

Probably you are using some Ad Blocker which is why you are not able to see any ads here.
