Optimize PC for Playing Movies – Play Any Video File with Codecs

Watch Movies OnlineThere were days when we used to download movies from the Internet which were quite blurry and had sound issues, but now we have HD Movies which are going to offer you with very high quality video & audio experience because of the technological advancements. Now the biggest issue would be that how you can optimize your computer in order to play the latest movie files which are available in different file formats, because the Windows Media Player is not going to play most file formats and would continuously search for codec files. There are many different reasons why the movie files wont be playing perfectly on your computer, and here are the suggestions for the same.

Upgrade Hardware : As previously mentioned, with the advancement in technology, the size and quality of the media has increased and also would need higher processor and RAM to render these video files, hence in order to enjoy these features you need to upgrade the hardware of your computer. In order to mention these, you need to upgrade the Mother-board & Processor of the computer first, followed by a higher RAM which can handle the video file while playing. The latest software’s need higher processing power and systems which can handle any kind of application and you can find this by just comparing the size of software’s we had 10 years back and nowadays. The browsers previously were in need of just 20-30mb of RAM but nowadays the Firefox browser with a few add-on’s sometimes needs upto a Gb of Ram and still there is no limit on this, hence in short the latest software you decide to run, the highest pc configuration you need to have.

Check for Audio Drivers : The next thing you need to do is to upgrade all your PC Drivers and make sure that the audio settings are updated. This is because when you have added any new Audio Output hardware, the pc needs to detect it and configure the same, following which you can experience its features. Use software’s like DriverRobot, Device Doctor, AppHit, Intel Graphics Update, Driver Detective & Update Checker

Install Codec Packs : This is the most important task if you want to play any kind of video file on your computer, because this is the software i have been using from the past 5 years and it not only comes with the required files but also a excellent Media Player which is super fast and neat in the looks. Called as the K-Lite Codec Pack this is a free software which can be downloaded from this url.

K-Lite Codec Pack is a collection of codecs and related tools. Codecs are required to encode and/or decode (play) audio and video. The K-Lite Codec Pack is designed as a user-friendly solution for playing all your movie files. With the K-Lite Codec Pack you should be able to play 99% of all the movies that you download from the internet.

Once you download and install the software, you will be asked to select the file extensions you want to configure with this software, just continue with all the default options and proceed to the software installation. You will get access to Windows Media Classic which is a amazing and simple media player but very powerful enough to allow you to play different media files.
