Portable Audio Editor & Recorder AudaCity

Audacity portable is a convenient device for recording and editing sounds. It is portable, meaning you can carry it with you whenever and wherever and use it on any computer you will be working and still you will leave behind any personal information because once you have finished with it you will simply unplug your portable device. You need not waste your time downloading and instilling the program. All you have to do is plug in your portable device which has the program and it is ready to use.

The program file is 2.3 MB download and 4.3 MB instillation. Audacity portable fictions are similar to original audacity.

It is very easy to use and it has multilingual function, it has audio editor and recorder for Windows, Mac OS X, GNU/Linux and other operating systems. You can use Audacity to: record songs or any sound from any line output and create multi tract recording, it has level meters to monitor volume levels during and any time later after recording.

Audacity portable converts tapes and records into CDs and can edit Ogg Vorbis (audio format specification and software implementation for lossy audio compression) MP3, WAV (waveform audio format used in windows), AIFF (audio interchangeable file format used in personal computers) sound files.

Other features of audacity portable are it can cut copy splice or mix various sounds together and produces compound sound. It has unlimited Redo’s and Undo’s, even very large files can be edited fast. It can edit and mix many tracts at the same time, it can fade the volume up or down smoothly with its envelope tool. Then it can change the speed and pitch of the recording. Pitch is the fundamental frequency of a sound and one of the three attributes of sounds the other two being the loudness and the timbre.

    I have used audacity and it really gives some good features to mix while playing the file. We can preview the recording to match the audible levels and other things.
