Remove FaceBook application notifications posts, messages & Block list Apps

September 20, 2010 by Amit Bhawani 1 Comment

FaceBook is growing day by day and the members are also logging in more with huge status updates but the major issue is that there is a heavily increasing SPAM on the Home & News feed which is in the form of uninvited messages, notifications and posts. In this email we will show you how you can remove all these notifications on your wall and also completely blacklist the same.

To get started you will have to mouse over the post which will display a ‘Remove’ button on the right hand side. This is similar to the topic of Stop Farmville updates & Turn off Notifications.

FaceBook Wall Notifications

Next a small window would be shown which would ask you to confirm if you would like to ‘Delete’ the post or ‘Cancel’ the action.

Delete Post FaceBook

There is also an optional ‘CheckBox’ to select if you would like to block the application, which would make sure that you never get any other updates sent directly through these kind of applications. This is applicable to apps like The Yes/No Game, events, Farmville, Fishville, Poker, Zynga Mafia wars etc. Select the option in check box and then Delete Post to perform this action to add the app to the Block List.
