Question : Every month i have to visit the Tata Indicom office for renewal of the Internet Connection which i have been using at my home. The distance is quite far, and since iam a disabled person its hard for me to travel. Is it possible for me to renew this connection online with my Credit Card? Do these people charge any extra transaction fees or is it the same as visiting the service desk?

To get started you will have to login to your account first here with the vsnl.net, eth.net, vsnl.com, vsnl.in or vsnl.net.in based Username and password as shown below.
Next you will be logged into your account control panel where you can make the payments of your bills and also make changes to your account. Click on the ‘Pay Bill’ link which is available on the top. The service will ask you the following. Choose the mode of payment that’s most convenient for you.
- Online: Convenient, secure and eco-friendly. Whats more, all our online transactions have the Verisign guarantee.
- Cheque: Write a cheque and drop it at your nearest drop box.
Click on the ‘Online’ link and you will be shown with the current pending or outstanding amount along with a list of all the 4 previous payments. Paying Online is not only convenient but also eco-friendly. Whats more all our Online transactions have the Verisign guarantee. You can choose to pay either with your Credit Card or using your Net Banking account. Just enter the amount you wish to pay, click on Pay Now to make your payment. Do you wish to make payment other than your outstanding amount? [Checkbox – YES]
Next select the Credit Card Payment option and you will be asked to select any of two listed payment processors.
- HDFC Payment Gateway (Visa and MasterCard)
- Bill Desk Facilitated Gateway (Visa, MasterCard and Amex)
Its suggested to use Bill Desk for better and quicker transaction. Once you select the option, you will asked to ‘verify your details’ where in your Tata Indicom Account Number, username, payment amount, mode and Order No will be listed. If everything is correct proceed with the ‘Pay Now’ option. By clicking on the Pay Now button you confirm the payment and it cannot be then cancelled.
Once the credit card number is entered and when you click on ‘Pay Now’ button you will be asked to enter your Verified by Visa or MasterCard 6 digit number following which the payment would be processed and approved.
Final message – The online payment was approved, and the amount has been adjusted against your Tata Indicom Broadband account.
