After the success of Samsung Galaxy S I9000 smart phone, it’s now evident that Samsung would want to expand its portfolio of such Android smart phones by launching the successive versions of I 9000 and so does becomes reality with the arrival of Samsung Galaxy S I9003 which looks exactly the same. But if we talk of successor, then it doesn’t seem to be as this phone is powered with a Super Clear LCD unlike Super AMOLED used in Galaxy S I 9000 which is in fact the World’s brightest Screen. This is the main difference between GT I 9000 and SL I9003, though there are some similarities too as both come with 16 GB of on board memory and 1 GHz of processor.
Other differences include 1650 mAH battery of I 9003 unlike 1500 mAH battery power of Galaxy S I9000. Since the battery size of both phones is the same, it’s expected that many of the I9000 users will use the battery of I9003 for added power for their smart phones. Also, this phone is box packed with Android’s Froyo 2.2 version, it would have been better if it had at least Android 2.2.1 in it if not the latest Gingerbread 2.3 in it. Though there is no estimated time of arrival (ETA) on the arrival of Gingerbread 2.3, it is expected to launch very soon.
It’s also rumored that I9003 will be replacing I9000 due to lack of Super AMOLED screens which are currently being used for manufacturing of Galaxy S2. Also, in thickness, this phone scores a low as this phone is thicker than I9000, where I9000 measures the thickness of 9.9mm, I9003 measures a thickness of 10.59mm. It’s not sure that in which all markets this phone will replace the super selling I9000, but it’s clear that Samsung is trying its level best to sell this one, as this I9003 also comes with the White back panel apart from black just like Samsung Galaxy Tab which has white back panel. I’m sure by now you would want to know more on SL I9003.

yes, the memory is 16 GB.
Not in Indian version. it got 2 GB ROM d 2 GB internal SD card… so total 4 GB for indian SLs. Which also a factor that Indian SLs are cheaper than that of Europe’s
It comes with a 4GB Micro SD(expandable to 16GB) card but it has a built in 16 GB storage.
