Tata Indicom has launched a really high internet broadband service which is wireless as well as a speed which you would never expect normally using a USB modem, though the same is available in bsnl evdo & reliance evdo.

Tata Indicom Photon Wireless Internet ServicesThe service called as Tata Indicom HSIA Photon offers you with internet connectivity on Laptops and Desktop Computers ranging upto 3.1 Mbps using a USB Modem which is very small device. You can just Plug & Play to get started usin this device. Currently the device is not available all over India and is only available in selected regions which can be checked at the official website

  10. I took photon+ Internet Conection, but they r giving me 1 free docomo card with Rs. 199/- rental plan. I dont want that card, why shuld I pay unnecessary Rs.190/- Per Month, what to Do?

  17. Is Tata is cheating people thru 3.1 mbps Photon + saying upto 3.1 mbps speed. I purchase 3 months before , but I seen the speed only kbps. Never Ever Crossed. I contacted customer care regarding this several times, but everyone is trying to escape and cheat by saying word “UPTO”
    My purpose of buying tata photon+ is in vain .

    Buying tata Photon+ is wasting Money,

    Its gives u speed mobile gprs connecting via PcSuit and reaching speed of 42 kpbs

    Photon Plus does not give any speed as promise 20 times Faster BLUFFs

    Pay 90 Rs for GPRS Than Paying anything to tata photon+

I really agree with what N.fatima said.Tata photon+ is the worst thing that i have ever come across.my downloading speed is never above 25kbps. dont evr take photon connection in ur life they are not providing the speed as shown so proudly in ad and everywhere,they are biggest liar fraud and even the customer service know noting,poor technician. technician knows only how to clean temp file,prefetch files n bootin up. the list is endless. fooling around with the customers bloody fuckin TATA p+

  24. With so many complaints around it, is it a good option to shift from the current BSNL 3G option to Tata photon? or do I stick with the BSNL connection?
    Reliance did provide the 3.1MBPS connectivity with the photon hub of theirs, but am not sure of Tata photon.

    • Don’t go for tata photon as their speed is too slow.
      I think BSNL 3g should work for you fine (If u r getting decent speed)

      Click and have a cup of coffee till the page opens with photon.

  25. TATA peoples are just cheating in the name of speed. I have 5 connections out of which 2 prepaid. the speed is pathetic and when cal raised they close the call with their own assumtion that all fine.

    Reas the terms and conditions wherein they have never mentioned that speed is 3.1 Mbps but its mentioned speed upto 3.1 Mbps. They have not committed any lower speed limit rate.

    Even if photon gets connected at speed of 30-40 Kbps its fine as the speed is variable.

    When I said I will go to consumer court as they have cheated me in name of speed tata officials clarified this terms and conditions and explained me my case will be rejected as they are well in there terms and conditions which i have signed the form.

    Thats it.

    If you get good speed, you are lucky else buy photon and cry.

I am from Dimapur city(state;Nagaland) actually, i bought a photon+ last month got 1GB free and after the usage of 1GB, i recharged for Rs.850, but the net is so slow, so please guide me for the amount of recharge to be use to make it fast or if there is any setting/upgrade to be done to make it fast. Thank you

  30. ur service is very poor, I recharge before One month with Rs.2500/- Six months validity, but i don,t know that after recharching of high balance , there is no changes in speed i.e Rs. 250/- to Rs. 2500/- not any changes,
