The blog’s loading speed<\/a> is one of the most important factor for many reasons like Google Search Engine Rankings, making visitors access faster blog<\/a> etc. Normally most of the bloggers use professional looking WordPress themes which are heavily coded with a lot of css codes and Images. The Images can be easily optimized with the use of Image Compression Software’s.<\/p>\n

\"CSS<\/a>If you have huge number of visitors to your blog, then you can save up bandwidth too by compressing the CSS Files, because any file reduction on the web hosting files can save up both the Space & Bandwidth. We would recommend using this<\/a> tool which offers with a lot of customization options to your CSS Files.<\/p>\n

Initially you need to paste down all the CSS Code from your style.css file which is located in the themes folder of your WordPress installation. You need to check the following options :<\/p>\n

Spaces and tabs<\/strong>
\nReplace multiple spaces with just one space
\nRemove space around chars ;:{},
\nLeave space between selectors
\nLeave space between properties
\nRemove tabs<\/p>\n

New lines handling<\/strong>
\nLeave lines as they are
\nReplace multiple empty lines with just one empty line
\nRemove all newlines<\/p>\n

Comment handling<\/strong>
\nDon’t strip any comments
\nStrip ALL comments
\nStrip comments at least chars long<\/p>\n

Other options<\/strong>
\nCompress color codes where possible
\nRemove unnecessary semi-colons
\nOne command per line<\/p>\n

Next once you click on the ‘Compress it’ button, the Online tool will perform all the tasks and then give you a quick report as shown below.<\/p>\n

\nOriginal size: 27370 bytes
\nCompressed size: 21828 bytes
\nSavings: 5542 bytes (20%) <\/p>\n
