Question – I have purchased a Apple iPad<\/a> and have downloaded around 70 different apps through the inbuilt App Store and my US iTunes Account<\/a>, now i find that there are a few updated versions of the Apps. Do i have to delete the older ones one by one and then re-download them or is there any other system for this?<\/p>\n

Answer – This question is similar to our article on updating iphone apps<\/a>.Once you download multiple apps from the App Store, it records all the purchases and free downloads linked to your account. Next whenever the iPad is connected to the internet, it checks for updates and notifies you in the form of a small number on the icon, through which you can understand if there are any updates available made by the developers and total number of updates you will need to do.<\/p>\n

Tap on the App Store Icon and then in the footer menu, you need to tap on the icon which says ‘Updates’. Next you will find a list of different updates which are available for the downloaded apps along with the update information, bugs, fixes information, version info etc.<\/p>\n

You can either tap on the Free button next to each respective app or else tap on the ‘Update All’ button which is available on the top right section of your screen which will next ask you to authenticate to your iTunes Account, followed by closing the App Store and directly start downloading the latest version of the apps.<\/p>\n
