If you are a website owner you would obviously expect your website to gain visitors from search engines<\/a>. Once you setup your robots.txt file<\/a> you need to get started with setting up a sitemap of your complete website which can be submitted to google search engine and using this sitemap file the google bots can find all the pages of your website and index them.<\/p>\n

\nIn order to create a sitemap file which is compatible for google.com you need to use some generators like XML-Sitemaps.com<\/a> which offer paid standalone versions and offers XML sitemaps for google, Text Sitemap for Yahoo<\/a>, Html sitemap for human visitors.

Another option is using a free Sitemap Generation tool like Auditmypc<\/a> which is a free online sitemap generation tool<\/a>. It automatically starts scanning all the pages on your website and creates a sitemap file for them. Just enter your domain name and the directories you dont want to be scanner and click on the crawler to get started.<\/p>\n
