\"Norton360<\/a>Norton 360 is a complete security package for your computer from Symantec which offers you with the ultimate level of security, good enough to make a home \/ small office computer user secure and happy because of the lighter versions and lower usage of computer resources. We had previously reviewed the Norton Security 2010<\/a> Package here where we had already mentioned that the software is by far the best version available, lets check out all the features and customizations available in this package.<\/p>\n

First of all the Norton 360 Package is a complete software suite with a list of features which comes up in a single package costing Rs.3,409.99\/1 year & Rs.6,299.99\/2 year license package which can be used for 3 home computers. A cost effective solution in our opinion because the package costs somewhere around Rs.1,000 per year per computer, while the same costs 80$ for international users. The price factor is something which many home users would take into consideration seriously but when you compare the same with other freeware antivirus packages<\/a> or low costing software’s, the security for your computer is low and this can for sure giving you more headaches in the daily computing life. Now lets discuss about all the features and customizations you can set up.<\/p>\n

Installation :<\/h3>\n

The package comes up in the form of 435 Mb data files which Auto run a setup launcher once you insert the CD into your computer. Next you will be asked to ‘Install Norton 360’, ‘Browse Content’ or ‘Exit’ as shown below.<\/p>\n

Next the software starts downloading updates from the Internet, which is quite a drawback because we have just started the installation procedure from the latest package and the software suite still needs you to download another 76Mb of an update.<\/p>\n

Once the downloads are completed, the application would ask you to enter the license key or product key which is a 25 digit Alpha Numeric key comes printed on the back of the CD cover. If the key is valid then you can proceed if not you are struck on the same screen.<\/p>\n

The installation process will be initiated with the whole process not going to take more than a minutes time under which the software drivers would be installed. Norton settings and passwords are restored only if you had earlier installed a Norton software on your computer and uninstalled it. Following this the main launch screen would be displayed and would ask you to Activate the account where in you need to enter your email address for linking the product key with your account.<\/p>\n

In the next step you will be asked to enter your Account details like Name, Passwords, Country etc following which the setup process is completed and you will be shown with a request to confirm your new account through email.<\/p>\n
