There was also a option to Jailbreak the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amitbhawani.com\/blog\/how-to-jailbreak-iphone-3gs-new-bootrom-ios4\/\">New Bootrom iOS4 or 3.1.3 devices<\/a> but that was a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amitbhawani.com\/blog\/check-iphone-jailbroken-unlocked-tethered\/\">tethered jailbreak<\/a> which required you to have the SHSH Blobs stored from the previous version on your computer.
