Just a few years ago most cell phones ran on simple Java or Flash and did not have any operating systems in them at all. However, as the mobile market became smarter and older, various operating systems made their mark – the latest amongst them being the Android operating system.

Utilizing this impressive Android operating system along with the powerful Qualcomm processor Motorola brings to you the Motorola Backflip. The Backflip features a great list of new and exciting features with an impressive and sporty look that you are bound to fall for. The Backflip combines the touchscreen navigation with a full QWERTY keyboard. Measuring about 108x 53x 15.3 mm and weighing only about 133 grams, the Backflip is a pocket friendly handset and easily slips into your pocket without any hassle.

The class 12 GPRS and EDGE lets you stay connected wherever you are, through the cellular networks. In areas covered by 3G, an HSDPA connection provides access to the Internet at speeds of up to 7.2 mega bytes per second, whilst Wi-Fi Technology detects wireless Internet routers, where ever possible resulting in a faster Internet connection and therefore an enhanced and unique browsing experience.

The 3.1 inch TFT touch screen comes with a pixel resolution of 320 X 480 pixels and supports 256 thousand colours to provide you with the finest mobile viewing experience. The accelerometer sensor automatically detects the orientation of the phone and accordingly adjusts the display.

The Backflip comes with a preloaded 2 GB microSD card which can be expanded up to 32 GB. The ample lets you store anything for your personal as well as your business needs. A number of pre-installed games add to the entertainment options whilst features such as an organiser and document viewer are sure to appeal the business users. The 5 megapixel camera of the backflip aided with autofocus lets you capture your favourite moments and is also capable of excellent quality video shooting up to a speed of 30 frames per second. The Geo tagging features record even the location of a particular photo.

The price of the Backflip is expected to range $500 – $570. Though it may seem a bit pricey but it’s definitely worth every bucks and the price seems reasonable when compared to the great list of features that it offers.

Motorola Backflip Android Phone Photos :

One of the most important aspects that decide the user experience in a mobile phone is the operating system that it uses.
