Backing up data is necessary when you are restoring your phone to the original settings, or your phone is lost and you need the data of the previous phone to be in the new phone. When you lose your phone, some remote management tools help with deleting all the data so that the person who stole it can not use the confidential information stored in your phone. But for you to use that data again in a new phone, or after you reset the data there needs to be a backup of it.<\/p>\n
