Reasons why you would like Internet Explorer 9 – Firefox is what I love, for mac or for Windows, although Google chrome and Internet explorer<\/a> have been developing on the other end with endless features being added in their releases, but while talking for Windows, Internet Explorer is getting on a better track after their beta launch of Internet Explorer 9 beta. It’s come in with many changes (which mostly are inspired from the rivals in the market, firefox and chrome) but still, any addition is good until it satisfies the end user’s needs.<\/p>\n

Here is what would make you feel that Internet Explorer 9 is better than its all previous versions –<\/p>\n

  1. The unified search bar<\/strong> Yes, this was seen in Google chrome and still being missed in the Firefox browser. Internet explorer 9 now flaunts this unified bar, that suggests you the keywords or the URLs while you are still typing the characters. Makes the search easier and faster.<\/li>\n
  2. Pinned Sites<\/strong> The browser just doesn’t stop it to being called a browser, but works more than that. The pinned sites is something new that you would see in Internet explorer. Instead of including a site in your favorites section, you can just drag the favicon to the windows taskbar and it pins it there, making the browser look more geekier with the buttons turning into the color of the favicon, making things look more specific to the web page you are browsing.<\/li>\n
  3. The richer New Tab<\/strong> Finally the empty new tab page is filled with things that Chrome, Opera, Safari flaunted earlier. i.e. the thumbnails of the most visited sites, which enhances the browsing experience and at least the internet explorer fans would have something to be happy about when comparing it with other browsers. And, this section is far better than that in Chrome, as it has a small tab that would show you how much time you have spent on that particular web page till date.<\/li>\n
  4. The download manager<\/strong> It doesn’t hit the other browsers, but still what we used to see as the downloads section in IE earlier, that’s replaced by a floating download manager which keeps all the information of the file download, even a pane showing the location of the downloaded file, so that you don’t need to keep remembering every time where you saved the file. There’s a search box to help you search within the downloaded files list.<\/li>\n
  5. Zooming doesn’t make things blurry<\/strong> The zooming can be done up to 400% but that doesn’t break the fonts and make them blurred. The font’s design remains the same, and this is a good advantage for those who have always been on Internet explorer and not any other browsers.<\/li>\n
  6. Add-on load time to help you check performance<\/strong> This is something that you would really love, when the browser acts slow and doesn’t open in a good enough speed<\/a>. The Choose Add-ons section lets you know how much time each add-on is taking up while the browser loads, and you can choose to disable those add-ons if they are not much of use to you for browsing, and if they are eating up more time during the browser start-up.<\/li>\n
  7. Faster than before<\/strong> I’m not saying this because others said the same. After checking it for some time, loading pages with heavy scripts, one would accept that the browser has got faster. Talking technically, the new javascript engine by Microsoft pulls the processor power from the computer rather than that from the browser, keeping the IE light and hence the performance is good and fast.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Ok, Internet explorer got better than before. Does that make me shift to it from Firefox? No. But the IE users who haven’t got their hands on any other browsers would surely love what all they find in this new version, although its still in beta.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
