FaceBook settings have been changing every few days and one of the major issues using these Social Networking websites is that your private information is in the hands of public with a few clicks. Hence its important to hide most of this information to make sure you don’t get those unwanted emails which can also be considered as SPAM and make sure others don’t find email address easily<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In this article we will show you how you can hide your Email Address without Email Masking<\/a> which is displayed under the ‘info’ tab of your profile which is accessible by your friends as shown below.<\/p>\n

In order to hide the email address from everyone you will have to click on the Account > Privacy Settings.<\/p>\n

Next you will get access to the Privacy Settings Customizations page where there are different categories of information and options listed. Here you will find a small option of ‘Customize Settings’ which will open another page on FaceBook.<\/p>\n

On this page under the Contact Information section you will find your email ID listed with an option of ‘Friends Only’. Click on this option and you will get a small drop down to select one of the multiple options.<\/p>\n

Next you will have to click on the ‘customize’ option which will display and small confirmation box asking you to select any one of the given options. Since we are looking to hide the email address from everyone’s access, it’s better to select the option of ‘Only Me’. You can still get messages from your FaceBook if they use the Messages option instead of searching for your email address and contacting you through the same.<\/p>\n
