This wordpress plugin allows you to take a scheduled backup of all the important database tables and also the backup of all the tables of different plugins you use on your blog.<\/p>\n
Installation of this Plugin :<\/strong>
\n1. Copy the wp-db-backup.php file to \/wp-content\/plugins\/
\n2. Activate the plugin at your blog’s Admin -> Plugins screen
\n3. The plugin will attempt to create a directory \/wp-content\/backup-*\/ inside your WordPress directory.
\n4. You may need to make \/wp-content writable (at least temporarily) for it to create this directory. For example: $ cd \/wordpress\/ $ chgrp www-data wp-content (where “www-data” is the group your FTP client uses) $ chmod g+w wp-content<\/p>\nBackup Options :<\/strong>
\nAfter you select the tables you want to take a backup you will be asked with the following options for the backup file.<\/p>\nWhat to do with the backup file:<\/strong>
\n* Save to server (\/home\/public_html\/wp-content\/backup-b23c8\/)
\n* Download to your computer
\n* Email backup to: Your Desired Email<\/p>\nScheduled Backup Option :<\/strong>

\nYou have the option to take a scheduled backup of your database in scheduled intervals and send the backup file to your specified email address which is helpful in case your server’s hard disk is failed and you end up without any backup’s.
