<\/p>\n15 Lakhs high school students are going to attempt their IT practical exams via a specially developed open source software based on Ubuntu which is a version of linux. This software is named as Exam CD[IT@School GNU\/Linux version 3.0] and has been distributed to 2832 government aided and unaided schools. IT@School has sucessfully trained around 70,000 faculties on the usage of this software by the Society for the promotion of Alternative computing and employment.<\/p>\n

The software is very easy to use and is it par with other similar competitive exam\/tests. Evaluators have options of comparing group students scores with other batches and record them. Since, this is a new kind of exam for students there are offered a special pattern where in they just need to answer 1 question from the total 2 questions in each category\/section. The Govt of kerala is also developing “Phoenix” – a integrated micro-controller device that integrates the physics experiments hardware to a PC which can help the students to understand the concepts of electrocity, magnetism, electromagnetic induction in a more practical way with a better understanding experiance.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
