Have you always been wondering how do other facebook<\/a> users have a great looking welcome page on their FB Pages and using which they try to get more fans? Then this article is for you because we are going to teach you the right way on how this feature works and how you could implement the right steps. By default there are a few tabs which you can re-arrange or sort as per your requirements but if you would like to add a custom tab then you need to work around a bit.<\/p>\n

In order to get started you need to signup with an application called as Static FBML which will be added to your fan page and which can display any kind of content which you embed in the box offered to you. Using this option you can set up a mailing list box, enquiry or contact options, contest, free promotional stuff, order forms or even run services all of which revolve around the LIKE button.<\/p>\n

Visit the Static FBML<\/a> application and add , install the same onto your facebook fan page. <\/p>\n

Click on ‘Add to my Page’ option which is available on the left side, which will display a small box with all your current fb pages. Next select the page where you would like to add the custom tab. <\/p>\n

Next click on the Facebook logo and visit the fan pages section. Under your selected page, click on the ‘Edit Page’ option. Next from the left side options click on Apps > FBML > Go to App.<\/p>\n

Next you will be shown with a box to enter the information you would like to display on the custom tab. First set the Box Title to whatever you would like to show, something like offer, welcome, checkout etc.<\/p>\n

Next under the bigger box you need to enter the matter which could be either the Welcome Message or any other information you would like to display. Once everything is set, click on the fan page and the new tab would show up there with the info you have earlier set.
