Apple introduced today the iPad 2<\/a> along with some smart covers which are not just some hard body covers, but are actually covers with some useful features. The reason for this is that, they don’t just offer a external cover but you can use them as a stand or even make the device move into sleep mode when its not being used.<\/p>\n

It connects to the device using magnets on the surface and would make it go to sleep mode or just cover it completely along with staying connected.<\/p>\n

The built in magnets would wake up the device from sleep mode and also increase the brightness on it. Use it for video calling or when watching movies or as a keyboard stand, its all upto you on how you would like to use it.<\/p>\n

The iPad and the cover would easily pair because they are designed in such a way that when they are next to each other the magnets would pull them closer and fit them at the right points.<\/p>\n

Once you cover the iPad with the smart cover, it goes to sleep mode and when you open it, it wakes up the device along with which the covers are available in two variants ie Polyurethane and Leather with a bunch of different colors available<\/p>\n
