\"Windows<\/a>I have been using the HTC HD7 Windows Phone 7<\/a> handset from a few months from now and have found that the Google Adsense<\/a> Advertisements are never displayed on the Internet Explorer Browser which comes pre-installed on the handset. Now the question which comes to my mind is whether Microsoft is blocking the advertisements because its from a competitors network or there is something else which is going on.<\/p>\n

Based on a few reports by different WP7 users the answer to this could be a script issue, but this is one very interesting question i have had about this phone. Microsoft has been able to sell a decent number of handsets and with the partnership with Nokia, its certain that the number could go to millions of handsets. If the advertisements are not displayed on the handset then this could actually lead to no revenue to the webmasters.<\/p>\n

All the other ad codes, scripts perfectly run on the default Internet Explorer but not the Google Adsense ads. I did a quick test by trying out different available browsers from the Microsoft Zune Marketplace but the result was same. Advertisements from ad networks like tribalfusion<\/a> were being displayed but not the ones which i was expecting.<\/p>\n

I’ve been able to display adsense ads on my website for a few years, and recently discovered that the ads show well on iPhone’s, and android devices, however they don’t display on the new blackberry torch, or windows phone 7 (HTC Surround).<\/p>\n

These aren’t “mobile adsense”, just plain adsense. My guess is that either Google is blocking the ads, or the browsers on the wp7, and bbTorch are not able to display the ads since the browsers aren’t full html5 compliant? No real clue. Obviously it’d be great if the ads would show across the board, but it’d be nice to get an official statement from Google on this issue.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

I still suspect foul play on the part of RIM and MicroSoft. They claim their browsers on mobile devices are fully html5 compliant, but it appears that they are not. Regular Google ads work great on Android and iPhone without delving into “mobile ads”. I’d be nice if Google looked into why they don’t work on wp7 or blackberry 6.0 devices, and maybe they can come up with a work around.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Adsense ads are javascript based hich the blackberry browser cannot handle but the Windows Phone should be able to render the same. In the case of WP7, it does run scripts, at least this works:
