3G technology is still quite new in the mobile phone industry and the CU500 is only one of the first phones that allow costumers to experience the full potential of this technology. The CU500 is a wonderful device which through its 3G technology enables you to do things that you wouldn\u2019t normally do with a phone such as access news from the web, check on stocks or the weather at very fast rates. The HSDPA technology means that users can now access and download their favorite multimedia content such as music, videos, pictures, etc at instantaneous speeds.<\/p>\n

The CU500 is able to provide costumers with easy and fast access to a wide variety of multimedia and messaging possibilities. The phone also has many of the basic features that most LG phones have such as a music player which can be controlled via external music keys, it has a blue tooth stereo headset which offers you the ability to access music wirelessly, you can also download files and other information and multimedia from you computer wirelessly as long the phone is within 50m range of the PC. Cingular has also included an enhanced music recognition service with MusicID that will enable users to identify an artists name and the particular song playing on the radio at the club or on the TV.<\/p>\n

The phone can allow you to watch clips, sports, news, movie trailers and their favorite shows on their phone via Cingular Video since it has High Speed Downlink Packet Access network. The phone has a 1.3 megapixel camera, which has a rotating lens and a video recorder that allows costumers to record and capture high quality pictures. The phone has a preloaded instant Messenger you can use MSN Messenger, AOL Instant Messenger AIM, or Yahoo Messenger. With Cingular`s 3G network you will always stay connected because you will able to download data at speeds of up to 400-700 Kilobits per second.<\/p>\n
