A :<\/strong> No, Jailbreaking is risk free and cannot void your warranty. You can simply restore in iTunes at anytime to get back to a factory state.<\/p>\n

Q :<\/strong> How can i unbrick my iPhone before claiming Apple warranty?<\/p>\n

A : <\/strong>As we said earlier a restore in iTunes make your iPhone get back to factory settings. To achieve a \u00a0clean restore you may need to put your iPhone in to DFU mode before restoring the device follow the steps given below and make sure to read the guide twice or thrice if you are doing this first time.<\/p>\n

Step One : <\/strong>Make sure your iPhone is turned on no matter if you stocked at Boot logo or Pineapple logo.<\/p>\n

Step Two :<\/strong> Put your iPhone in to DFU mode. We have two methods to achieve DFU mode but i like the Method 1. If you\u00a0are facing any problem with method 1 then try your luck with method 2.<\/p>\n

Method 1)<\/strong><\/p>\n

  • Attach the iPhone to the\u00a0computer<\/li>\n
  • Turn the iPhone off<\/li>\n
  • Press and hold power and home buttons together for *exactly* 10 seconds<\/li>\n
  • Release power but keep holding home button (estimated time 30 sec.) until the\u00a0computer recognized the USB device.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/blockquote>\n

    Method 2)<\/strong><\/p>\n

    • Attach the iPhone to the\u00a0computer<\/li>\n
    • Turn the iPhone off<\/li>\n
    • Press and hold power. Keep holding power. As soon as you see display on the screen of any sort press and hold home.<\/li>\n
    • Hold power and home together for *exactly* 10 seconds<\/li>\n
    • Release power but keep holding home until the pc beeps as a USB device is recognized.<\/li>\n
    • At no point will the display come on. Now your restore should work.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/blockquote>\n

      Step Three :<\/strong> If you achieved DFU mode successfully a\u00a0popup in itunes will appear saying your iPhone is in restore mode and must be restored.
