I run a stock markets related blog where i write on different companies on a daily basis and keep linking to their income and revenue reports on regular basis in order to keep my visitors updated on the news related to different companies where they invest. Generally i host all the files on free file hosting companies like rapidshare but is there any solution where i can show these files directly on my blog posts like we can embed mp3 files<\/a>, embed flash files<\/a>, embed google maps<\/a>, and youtube videos<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Tech Bloggers keep posting about different news and reports with links to Adobe PDF Files and also Word Documents which i readers would download and read them. But its possible to directly embed these files into your blog posts using a simple code. Check out Scribd<\/a> which is one of the largest publishing company allowing anyone to convert documents to a easy format readable through iPaper a document reader. It allows you to convert files from PDF, MS Word, MS Powerpoint with any kind of formats, fonts and looks into a nice interface which can help you in reading the files directly on the web pages. In order to upload a Document you need to click on ‘Upload to Share’ feature after which you will be asked to Choose Files from your computer. <\/p>\n

Scribd is a free service offering you with stats on viewers, ratings, downloads and more. Just upload the files and you will get a code to embed, though the uploading needs you to create a quick account followed by a progress bar shown on the site which shows you the % of the file uploaded. After this step you will be asked to enter the Tags & Description for your uploaded file with a discovery rate given there which means that the more detailed information you add about your uploaded file, the more chances of it getting more readers.<\/p>\n
