That is , as the name itself states,the notebook resembles sort of the primitive writing slates. Thus they do not have any dedicated keyboards. For text input to the computer the user uses stylus or the digital pen o the touchscreen. User can also add a keyboard if required by connecting it wirelessly or through the well known USB port. These tablet PC has small LCD screen which has touch sensors in it. These tablet PC has major application in field work where rugged feature like heat resistant etc. and compactness are more preferred needs.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Covertibles:<\/strong>\n<figure id=\"attachment_5578\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-5578\" style=\"width: 150px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.amitbhawani.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/09\/Convertible-Tablet-PC.png\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-thumbnail wp-image-5578\" title=\"Convertible Tablet PC\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.amitbhawani.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/09\/Convertible-Tablet-PC-150x150.png?resize=150%2C150\" alt=\"Convertible Tablet PC\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-5578\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Convertible Tablet PC<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>These are the most available tablet PC but unlike Slates they have a base and a keyboard attached dedicated only for input purpose. They almost look like a laptop but are smaller than them and heavier than Slates. The  base of convertibles, having the keypad is connected to the screen using a single joint which can rotate through 180 degrees and fold down on the keyboard. Non character information like diagrams can be recorded but speed of writing is slower than peek typing speed.
