This application requires MAC OS X 10.3.7 or later and is useful for connecting Reliance Netconnect on Macbook<\/a>. The moment you connect your Data Card to your Laptop or Computer, its automatically recognized and you will find a extra drive in your ‘My Computer’ section from where the process gets started.<\/p>\n

  1. To install the Reliance Netconnect application on MAC OS X, double-click the file – Reliance Netconnect.\n

  2. Click ‘Continue’ option on this Screen.\n

  3. Click ‘Continue’ and then click ‘Agree’ to accept the license.\n

  4. Select the MAC OS volume to install the application and click ‘continue’\n

  5. Enter the password of the current user and click OK\n

  6. Wait while the application is being installed. When the installation is finished, you will see the following window.\n

  7. Start the Reliance Netconnect application by double click ‘Reliance Netconnect’. The main windows of the Reliance Netconnect is showed as below.\n

  8. If you want to dial up to connect to the network, you must create a valid profile first : click Setting on the main window. Then the setting window will show up.\n

  9. Click New to set the parameters. Input the Profile Name as you like,
    \nThen input network parameters?
    \nTelephone Number will be #777
    \nAccount Name :- your 10digit MDN
    \nPassword : – Your 10digit MDN<\/p>\n

  10. Click Save to save your setting and click OK to return the main window.<\/li>\n
  11. Now you can select the profile as you like and click Connect to dial-up.<\/li>\n
  12. While dialing, the MAC OS X may ask you to type your login password.<\/li>\n
  13. Input your login password and click OK to continue.<\/li>\n
  14. If connected successfully, the following message window will be shown.\n

  15. To disconnect from the network, click Disconnect.<\/li>\n
  16. You can select the Network Type. In the sub menu, you can choose the following options:
    \nHigh Speed 1x: The terminal can connect to the High Speed 1x network.
    \nBroadband+: The terminal can connect to the Broadband+ network.
    \nHYBRID (Broadband+ and High Speed 1x): The terminal can connect to the Broadband+ and High Speed 1x network both.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The below description is how to manually activate modem. (MAC OS X Leopard 10.5Version)<\/strong><\/p>\n

    • Double-click the given \u201cZTerm1.1b7.OSX.dmg\u201d file.<\/li>\n
    • Insert modem in the Mac PC usb port.<\/li>\n
    • Double-click the \u201cZTerm\u201d and then you can see ZTerm hyper-terminal window.<\/li>\n
    • Type the \u201cat+chv0\u201d and then click the \u201cEnter\u201d button. If you see the \u201cOK\u201d in the ZTerm hyper-terminal window, go onto the next stage.<\/li>\n
    • Activate Modem by typing the \u201cat+cdv*228\u201d on the ZTerm hyper-terminal window and clicking the \u201cEnter\u201d button. Follow the instructions after dialing *228.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      \nWhen you want to input \u20180\u2019, \u20181\u2019, \u20182\u2019, \u2026., \u20189\u2019, \u20180\u2019, \u2018*\u2019 and \u2018#\u2019 through hyper-terminal, use the \u201cat^dtmf=0,0\u201d, at^dtmf=0,1\u201d, \u201cat^dtmf=0,9\u201d, \u201cat^dtmf=0,0\u201d, \u201cat^dtmf=0,*\u201d and \u201cat^dtmf=0,#\u201d command.
