\"Mobile<\/a>Mobile Phone SPAM is something which we can generally not stop because there are no income charges on SMS and hence spammers are spamming mobile phone users using free sms websites<\/a> and this is the very much reason these legit services are also going down slowly. In most cases the spammers use internet as a medium to send sms to 10-digit mobile phone users. The number of unsolicited messages is increasing regularly with the number of mobile phone users increasing and you need to opt into the following steps to make sure your phone is saved from this spam.<\/p>\n

There are some SMS sending websites which asks the sender to verify the mobile phone before sending a message to make sure their sent messages are not considered as Spam, but this is not the case always.<\/p>\n

+ AT&T: Log into mymessages.wireless.att.com<\/a>. Under Preferences, you will find text-blocking and alias options. Here you can block messages from specific e-mail addresses or Web sites.<\/p>\n

+ Verizon Wireless: Log into vtext.com<\/a>. Under Text Messaging, select Preferences and choose Text Blocking. Here you can choose to block e-mail or Web based SMS as well as setup aliases.<\/p>\n

+ Sprint: Log into sprint.com<\/a>. Under My Online Tools, goto Communication Tools and select Text Messaging. On the Compose a Text Message page, under Text Messaging Options, click Settings & Preferences. Here you can block specific Phone Numbers, e-mail addresses and domains.<\/p>\n

+ T-Mobile: Log into t-mobile.com<\/a> and click Communication Tools. Here you can block all messages sent by e-mail or permit only messages sent to your phone\u2019s e-mail address or alias, or create filters that block text messages containing certain phrases.<\/p>\n
