So got a chance to quickly check what Google wave is, and waht you can do with it.<\/p>\n<p><em>Here is a hands-on preview of Google wave &#8211;<\/em><br \/>\nGoogle Wave is the real-time communication platform combining all the things needed to make networking, work and business brought in a single place with text, imaging, videos, maps etc. all at a single place. You can call them as Blips and these blips when being edited by multiple users at a single time, can work real-time and changes are shown at the same time when all the users are doing it.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_6234\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-6234\" style=\"width: 1024px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.amitbhawani.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/google-wave-preview.png\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.amitbhawani.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/google-wave-preview-1024x643.png?resize=1024%2C643\" alt=\"Google Wave Preview\" title=\"Google Wave Preview\" width=\"1024\" height=\"643\" class=\"size-large wp-image-6234\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-6234\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Google Wave Preview<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Its a 4-module 3-column layout initially which you can change and make it a single column big wave box if you wish, with every other column minimized and sent to the top.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li> Left column &#8211; Upper part is the navigation box, lower part is contacts<\/li>\n<li> Middle column &#8211; The wave inbox<\/li>\n<li> Right column &#8211; The wave creation and view box<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Just as you enter you would see the invites and introduction mail, and you can send a few invites which are not sent out immediately, but Google might take 1-2 days time for the invite to be sent to those whom you nominate.<br \/>\nYou can chat, send mails, check wikis, include maps, social networking, management of projects etc. and everything within a single platform.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_6235\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-6235\" style=\"width: 585px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.amitbhawani.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/google-wave-create.png\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.amitbhawani.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/google-wave-create.png?resize=585%2C300\" alt=\"Google Wave Create\" title=\"Google Wave Create\" width=\"585\" height=\"300\" class=\"size-full wp-image-6235\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-6235\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Google Wave Create<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>While creating a wave, I could write the text, format it with all the HTML options, include images from local directory or search for images, videos, books through the Google search within the wave itself and include them directly rather than uploading from the local directory.
