Screencast<\/figcaption><\/figure>If you are planning to show demos on your blog for some Web Tools or else some How to Articles then you would need a Video Recording software which can easily handle all your job by capturing all your work and helping you to save the output file in a high quality video file. Here is one of them which is called as the Screencast O Matic<\/a> – A simple online tool which creates a small frame on your screen which can be dragged easily and you can start recording the stuff you want to record.<\/p>\n

Even for recording a high quality video, you dont have to install any software on your computer, and just click on the ‘Create’ button to get started after which you will be shown different options to select. This recorder is Java based which means that you should have the latest version of Java installed on your computer and browser.<\/p>\n

A light bordered frame will appear along with a center logo using which you can Drag & resize the frame. There are options to resize the frame based on different sizes ranging from the minimum 640×480 to Fullscreen. The Application also records Voice if you have a connected Microphone and select the Voice Settings. A Red Buttton on the left is required to be clicked in order to start the recording after which the application will record whatever is done behind the frame area.<\/p>\n

Once the recording is done, you will find a instant preview on the screencast-o-matic.com website along with options on what to do with the screencast. You have different options like Upload to SOM, Upload to YouTube HD, Export Movie, Go Back and Continue the Screencast. I selected the Export option and it asked me more details like the Title, Description and if i wanted to add mroe details within the video at selected seconds, following which a progress bar showed the exporting status. Then the fole was downloaded to my computer at the location i had previously selected which i can easily upload to Youtube. The final version of the video was just Awesome HD Quality but with a small WaterMark on the Bottom-Left side of the video to the screencast website which is ok because you will love the final video which was developed for free of cost.
